A great book to read

Okay, this is the second book in this.....catagory that I have read. I wanted to try something new and outside my comfort zone. This book could be classified as a M/M romance. Or maybe erotica. I am no expert in these kinds of things. But it really wasn't any different that reading about a straight couple.
I don't know how much more outside my comfort zone I can get with this book. If I am being completely honest with myself, I can say that didn't expect to like it at all.
I love when a book just shatters my perceptions.
This book had a pretty good storyline. The game aspect was inventive. It was intense and sexual. All good things right? I am still trying to identify all the emotions this book evoked in me. The words carnal and passionate come to mind when I think of this book. The cover was typical and attractive.
Characters:
Michael knows who he is. He is smart and open to try new things. Rational comes to mind when I think of his personality. Patient is a virture he tries to cultivate and succeeds for the most part. Until the game takes precedence over something he deems more important.
Andrew seems kinda lost and floating around. He needs strict structure to function and doesn't seem to know how to express himself very well without the rules. Always there must be rules.
Read it. But only if you like good sex scenes.

It was intriguing and an amazing read.

My first book by Daryl. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him at an author signing. He is super awesome in person. One of the reasons I picked this up was his persona. Loved him and his mom.
Now to the book. I really enjoyed reading this. It was such a different take on the M/M relationship. It was intriguing how he made the characters come to life, made you feel the anguish they felt and ultimately found happiness. I don't normally read the shorter books, I read so fast. This was one of the exceptions and I do not regret it. I only want more from Daryl, and I want it SOON! :)
If the M/M genre is something you like, you should check this out. It is worth it!

I Never Played Games Like This in My Dorm Room

It started out kind of fun and then I felt it went a bit dark. I understand the motivations of the narrator. It's a mountain you just have to climb. I also understand that it is difficult for some guys to get in touch with them true-selves without creating something that suggests the activity is not really homosexual - it is a consequence of a game, a night of drinking - something like that. I was so intrigued that I had to keep reading - because I wanted them to be friends - I wanted things to work out - I wanted the games to continue - but in a different way. I don't want to give the ending away - but even only at 4 stars - I would recommend it - but not if m4m sex is a problem for you.
